Global Impact Value Exchange (GIVE) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to advancing financial inclusion, reducing poverty and uplifting underserved communities worldwide. We bring together the people who build, fund and deploy financial technology with the organizations and researchers closest to the communities it should serve.

To convene fintech entrepreneurs, social impact investors, nonprofit leaders, and researchers through immersive educational summits, empowering them to design and deploy financial technology solutions that advance financial inclusion, reduce poverty, and uplift underserved communities worldwide.

Jimmy Ku
CEO & Cofounder
Jimmy Ku is a founder, investor, and operator whose fingerprints are on some of fintech's most impressive growth stories. As a key executive at Flutterwave, he helped scale the platform from 290K to 1M+ merchants and from $9B to $25B+ in total payment volume in under two years. A Venture Partner at 10X Capital and Modi Ventures, he has advised 50+ startups and helped founders raise over $540M.
Matt Walters
COO & Cofounder
Matt Walters is a former entrepreneur, VC, and nonprofit executive, with 20+ years experience across the US, Asia, and Latin America. As an early employee at Room to Read, Matt led financial operations, overseeing completion of 8,000 libraries by his departure. Most recently Matt led corporate development at Eve, raising nearly $500M through IPO and secondary offerings.

Who takes part in GIVE's gatherings?
Each gathering brings together 40 to 50 leaders from fintech, impact investing, nonprofits and research. The 2025 gathering included 19 fintech entrepreneurs, 15 social-impact investors, 8 nonprofit leaders and 1 academic researcher from Africa, Asia, Europe and the United States.
How are participants selected?
Gatherings are invitation-based. Leaders can share their interest on our Join Us page, and we review each one for fit with the focus of upcoming gatherings.
Where do gatherings take place?
CHANGE gatherings take place on Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands, in partnership with Virgin Unite.
What happens after a gathering?
GIVE was founded to help participants carry their plans forward through peer learning, follow-up and shared research. We are building that structure now.
Is GIVE a registered charity?
Yes. GIVE is a California nonprofit public benefit corporation recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) public charity. Our EIN is 39-3875999.
